“IFBrA” supports the Medical Department of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in applying the Modified Brazilian Functionality Index (IFBr-M), used to assess disability. The process used to run on Word documents driven by VBA macros; the app guides medical and biopsychosocial evaluators through seven tabs — case details, clinical history, affected functions, the scored instrument, environmental barriers and the FUSE model.

The scores from both evaluators are combined into the result, and the app produces the final report in the department’s official template, ready to print. Every change is logged with the user, the values before and after and the step, so completed assessments can be reviewed later.
